Definition of Static Data Center Proxy

A static data center proxy is a type of proxy IP assigned by data centers (rather than Internet Service Providers, ISPs). These IPs are fixed and do not change frequently over time, making them suitable for scenarios requiring stable connections and high performance. Compared to dynamic data center proxies, static proxy IPs change very rarely, hence they are called “static.”

Fixed IP Address:

The IP address of static proxies remains consistent during the service period, making them ideal for tasks that require long-term use of the same IP.

Provided by Data Centers:

These IP addresses are public IPs provided by data centers rather than residential IPs assigned by ISPs, and they are generally more affordable.

High Performance:

Data center proxies typically offer high bandwidth and low latency, making them well-suited for scenarios requiring fast data transmission.

Anonymity:

Although not residential IPs, static data center proxies still offer good anonymity and can disguise themselves as regular user traffic.

Susceptible to Detection:

Because the IP source differs from residential proxies, certain platforms (e.g., shopping websites or social media) may detect and restrict these IPs using detection mechanisms.
